People wanting your food when dining out?
Why do people assume that if you order something different that you want to share it with them? Is it just me or what? A friend reached over for a taste of my food and i did not want to share. It is not because I am selfish or greedy, yet food is one area where I do not want others picking in it.. I do not even like it when they ask first. If I wanted what the had then I would have ordered it..
What is a good comeback? Or am I just being rude for not sharing?
I think it is totally acceptable that you don’t share. I hate sharing, but for different reasons. 
I’m greedier.
But, I think if it’s a concern of yours.. and it’s your food.. you have every right to ask them not to. And, just.. straight forward, too.
You’ll feel a lot better. Especially if it’s a friend, I would hope they could understand it grosses you out.
I once had a friend that didn’t even like to share popcorn.. Which I am totally okay with. We always get popcorn and share at the movies. Buuut… this friend was bothered by the fact that it was someone else’s hands in her popcorns. So, we compromised by getting two smaller ones.
